Custom engineering service / Spatial data, IoT & operational integration

Connect physical observations to the records that run the operation.

We select cameras, barcode or RFID readers, scales or LiDAR for one defined verification task, then connect each observation to the relevant item, batch, pallet, location, shipment or stockpile.

Discovery, pilot and staged implementation

Physical inventory verification
A reviewable verification point linking observed goods, their identity and operational records.

01 / The challenge

Physical inventory verification

Inventory records describe what should be present, while physical checks happen separately and often leave little structured evidence. Identity, quantity, location, time and measurement uncertainty must be connected before a discrepancy is useful.

The engineering approach

The pilot answers one concrete question: whether a dispatched pallet matches an order, whether a production kit is complete, or how a measured stockpile compares with recorded movements. The sensing method, calibration, acceptable error and exception owner are validated for the actual goods and environment.

02 / Customer benefit

Customer benefit

  • 01Locate and investigate physical-versus-record discrepancies
  • 02Support receiving and dispatch checks with time-stamped evidence
  • 03Reduce repetitive reconciliation where reliable observation is feasible
  • 04Improve traceability between material movement and business records
  • 05Establish a repeatable measurement process for one material class

Good fit when

Good fit when

  • A defined receiving, picking, staging or dispatch point exists
  • Staff compare physical identities or quantities with digital records
  • Representative items and reference measurements are available
  • Warehouse, ERP or shipment records expose a bounded interface
  • Uncertain observations can be reviewed by a named exception owner

03 / Delivery workflow

Pilot delivery path

The pilot answers one concrete question: whether a dispatched pallet matches an order, whether a production kit is complete, or how a measured stockpile compares with recorded movements. The sensing method, calibration, acceptable error and exception owner are validated for the actual goods and environment.

01

Define one verification question

02

Assess sensing and calibration

03

Connect observations to records

04

Review discrepancies and validate error

Initial pilot deliverables

  • Sensor and reference-measurement assessment
  • Item, location and record-system mapping
  • A bounded observation and reconciliation connector
  • A discrepancy queue with expected, observed and source evidence
  • Validation of errors, missed discrepancies, false alerts and operator effort
